Welcome To Tata Motors Uttarakhand Plant

The Tata Ace, which is India’s first mini truck, was launched in 2005. It has received stupendous response from customers.

In order to meet the growing demand for this product, Tata Motors has now set up a plant at Pantnagar in Uttarakhand. This is the company’s fourth plant, after Jamshedpur (commercial vehicles), Pune (commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles) and Lucknow (commercial vehicles). The plant was set up in a record time of 11 months and has set benchmarks for such projects.

The company has invested about Rs.1000 crores in the plant. Vendors for the vehicle will make additional investments to set up their plants in the vendor park adjacent to the plant. This operation will generate about 10,000 direct and indirect jobs in the plant, among vendors and service providers in the area.
