These questions were asked in the Amazon interview to various students, some of whom are my friends and classmates. MCQ\u2019s were from various concepts related to Operating Systems, DBMS, DS &amp; ALGO, Aptitude, Coding Output Questions.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Coding Questions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Below are some coding questions we faced in the very first Amazon interview round.<\/p>\n<p>1. Longest Increasing Subsequence<br \/>\n2. Maximum sum such that no two elements are adjacent<br \/>\n3. Nearly 150 candidates are shortlisted for the interview round. Nearly all the students who solved both the coding questions were shortlisted for the further round.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Round 2:<\/u><\/strong> Technical Interview (Total 4)<\/p>\n<p>Since I don\u2019t remember Amazon questions asked round wise, I am sharing all the questions that I remember. These questions were asked in the interview with various students.<\/p>\n<p>1. Print Left View of a Binary Tree<br \/>\n2. Print Right View of a Binary Tree<br \/>\n3. How to check if the given tree is a BST or not?<br \/>\n4. Snake and Ladder Problem<br \/>\n5. Check whether the given tree is a perfect binary tree or not?<br \/>\n6. Bridge Building (DP)<br \/>\n7. Median of Stream of Running Integers<br \/>\n8. Kadane Algorithm (Also with slight modifications in it Like count number of elements which form maximum sum in the array. You can delete one number in the array, find maximum sum of contiguous array elements)<br \/>\n9. Clone a Linked List<br \/>\n10. Stack from Queue<br \/>\n11. LRU Cache Implementation<br \/>\n12. Check if a tree is a mirror of itself<br \/>\n13. Given a Binary Tree, count how many subtrees are possible which are BSTs<br \/>\n14. Detect loop in linked list<br \/>\n15. Find Closest Palindrome Number<br \/>\n16. Find smallest Palindrome nearby given number<br \/>\n17. Given a string, Is it possible to shuffle characters to make it palindrome<br \/>\nGiven a string, Is it possible to arrange characters such that no same chars are adjacent<br \/>\nGiven a BST, Find out the no. of pairs of nodes whose absolute difference is less than k without using extra space (I guess only the interviewer know the answer for this problem :-P) If someone found a solution for it please share it.<br \/>\n18. In total, you have to go through 4 technical interviews in order to get selected and the major skills that you must possess are Excellent Problem Solving and Coding skills. Some of the interviewers also asked questions from operating systems and SQL queries. In total 15 candidates were selected.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Other Amazon interview questions for freshers<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1)Tell me what you know about AWS?<br \/>\n2)Tell me about a time you handled a crisis.<br \/>\n3)Tell me about a time you had to deal with ambiguity.<br \/>\n4) Give me a time you had to act quickly without any data.<br \/>\n5) What would you change about the website?<br \/>\n6) Tell me a time when you took on a role higher than yours.<br \/>\n7) Tell me a time you failed at a project.<br \/>\n8) Tell me a time when you led a project.<br \/>\n9) Describe a time you were innovative.<br \/>\n10) Describe a time you disagreed with a professor.<br \/>\n11) Describe a time you were very disappointed.<br \/>\n12) Describe a time you exhibited trial and error execution of any task.<br \/>\n13) Describe a time you handled an event\/project\/budget on your own, if any.<br \/>\n14) Behavioral questions<br \/>\n15) Case studies<br \/>\n16) Tell me about a time you skipped a deadline.<\/p>\n<p>Hope these Amazon interview questions will help you prepare for an upcoming drive.
