I applied for the position of a Trainee Decision Scientist at Mu Sigma online, through my college’s Training and Placement Cell. I received a call from the HR on the very next day confirming that I could sit for the placement as I met all the academic criteria. The interview process comprised of a written test followed by a face-to-face interview with the senior manager & one more panelist. The questions asked were pretty easy and spanned through common HR interview questions like “Tell me about yourself<\/a>“, “Where do you see yourself 3 years from now?<\/a>” and “Why Mu Sigma?<\/a>” etc. I spoke about my internship experience only when I felt I should. I was also given some decently tough business cases and puzzles to solve. The entire face-to-face interview lasted for a good 1 hour. My interview took place at VIT, Pune and I faired well in the test. However I did not get selected as the filtration criteria was tough to crack, considering the number of students who were appearing for Mu Sigma placement test. I could have asked a senior to refer me directly, however I did not and now I am repenting. \ud83d\ude41 Let’s deep dive into my entire interview process.<\/p>\n
