I didn\u2019t know much, but I was eager to learn. Joining the CSE Technical Club helped me grow from a volunteer to an active core team member, eventually becoming someone who led full-scale event planning and execution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over time, our team organized various types of college tech events, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coding competitions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quizathons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UI\/UX design challenges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideathons and hackathons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guest lectures and workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lesson_1_Leadership_and_Teamwork\"><\/span>Lesson 1: Leadership and Teamwork<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizing college events taught me how to lead and work with diverse teams. Whether inviting speakers or briefing participants, clear communication skills are non-negotiable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I improved through event coordination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Writing formal emails and messages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing and promoting events via posters, reels, and captions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anchoring and hosting technical sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing Q&amp;A and live feedback sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These skills now help me during interviews, professional networking, and content creation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lesson_3_Creativity_Meets_Tech\"><\/span>Lesson 3: Creativity Meets Tech<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>College events provided me with the opportunity to combine technical knowledge with creativity. Whether designing digital assets or automating registration, I found opportunities to innovate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tools &amp; Platforms I Explored:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canva and Figma for design and UI\/UX<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google Forms and Sheets for workflow automation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Python scripts for backend automation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OBS and Zoom for hosting hybrid tech events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These skills not only added value to my resume but also helped me land freelance and internship opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lesson_4_Managing_Pressure_Deadlines\"><\/span>Lesson 4: Managing Pressure &amp; Deadlines<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every tech event brings unexpected challenges. I met and collaborated with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Guest speakers from startups and MNCs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Senior mentors who helped me with placements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Juniors who now look up to my work on LinkedIn and GitHub<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These interactions often led to mentorships, collaborations, and even internship referrals. Now, I confidently speak about<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leading a team of 20+ volunteers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizing a hackathon with 300+ participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hosting a workshop with an industry expert<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These experiences show recruiters that I\u2019m not just technically capable\u2014I\u2019m also resourceful, responsible, and driven.
