Duration: 2-3 months
Topics: Pointers(normal, shared, unique, function), Operating Systems (Process Scheduling, Detailed process memory allocation, Kernel space user space, Fork calls, system calls, paging, thrashing, etc similar topics are imp, although all OS topics were covered in my prep as I had few projects also around it), Computer Architecture, OOPs concepts, Data structures ( Not very advanced ) but all fundamental questions and concepts were covered. Algorithms (Important ones), No System Design
Tip 1 : Be thoroughly prepared on your resume projects and tech skills
Tip 2 : Be thoroughly prepared with all Computer Science fundamentals
Tip 3 : Be clear while communicating, also having core CS projects is always a plus
TIP 4 : NOT much requirement of doing practice a lot. Be good with core DS and algorithm and have enough skills to write proper code.

Tip 1 : Have core CS projects if applying in campus placement season
Tip 2 : Be thoroughly prepared with all what you've put on resume, expect them to take one project and ask deep conceptual questions

Platform was normal only but not any known one.
Coding question mostly would be simple so mostly things boil down to MCQs so answer them correctly and seriously

Tip 1 : Attempt some online Gate previous year question if some rough idea is required
Tip 2 : Not very tough if you have good fundamentals
Tip 3 : None of my friends and me prepared for MCQs
