30 Days Roadmap For TCS NQT
30 Days Roadmap For TCS NQT is divided into four weeks as the reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability sections take more time than other sections. So the overall strategy is to first work on this in sections. But along with that, we will also revise the Verbal Ability section syllabus. The reason behind learning two sections is to make sure that our mind also gets the change and doesn’t get tired quickly. The Verbal Ability sections syllabus is relatively easy to understand and revise.
30 Days Roadmap For TCS NQT is prepared considering that a candidate must study for more than 6-7 hours with total concentration and zero distraction during study time. This would be learning with fun. Considering the below-guided path, you can easily crack the TCS NQT exam. Let us start now:
Week 1
This week, we will start with the Reasoning Ability section. The below image represents the syllabus of the section covering this week.
There are 14 topics in the Reasoning Ability section and nine topics in the Verbal Ability section that we have to cover during this week.
Daily, we will cover three topics. Each topic will take 1-2 hours to complete, varying as per the difficulty level. Choose any three topics from the syllabus in such a way that one topic you are interested in or comfortable with, and the other two are a little more complex and challenging. Don’t start with the difficult ones, that might diminish your confidence which is the key to staying motivated throughout the preparation.
We will study and practice two topics from the Verbal section with the Reasoning section. Topics of the Verbal section are pretty straightforward, so they won’t take much time to learn and practice.
The most important thing is PRACTICE. If you are just mugging up the concepts, things won’t work. It is often said that QUALITY over QUANTITY should be the priority.
If you follow the schedule, after completing day 4, you have already completed 12 topics from the Reasoning Ability section and eight topics from the Verbal Ability section. On the remaining three days, try to practice questions such that all the topics get covered and revise the topics you feel you are not comfortable with.
Week 2
This week, the approach will be the same.
There are 20 topics in the Numerical Ability section and nine topics in the Verbal Ability section that we have to cover during this week.
Daily, we will cover four topics. Each topic will take 1-2 hours to complete, varying as per the difficulty level. Choose any four topics from the syllabus in such a way that two topics you are interested in or comfortable with and the other two are a little more complex and challenging.
The Reasoning Ability section approach will be the same, two topics a day.
On the remaining three days, try to practice questions such that all the topics get covered and revise the topics you feel you are not comfortable with.
Week 3
This week, we will cover the programming logic section.
This section covers the C language basics. On daily basic reasoning, we will cover two topics and then practice the programming questions like solving problems related to the syntax of C language, Output questions.
The Coding Section is the essential section of the test. But this section is a little tricky. Because problem-solving is a skill that cannot be learned in a few days, this exam accepts you to be good at problem-solving. Don’t worry, you can follow our Guided path to understand the core concepts of programming that will help you and provide you a better insight.
Week 4
Only studying the syllabus is not the only point to get a good score in the TCS NQT exam. Giving a full-length mock test is the most critical part of this exam. So, in week 4, one should give one mock test and then analyze the topics one needs to work on.
One thing you can do is to write the topics on sticky notes or quick notes. So that you can clearly understand which topics you have to revise daily, one practice that makes you stand out from the other candidates is to give a mock test at the time.
It is high time to get started with the preparation. Lastly, we recommend you stick to the stated Roadmap to get good marks.
