Setting up Business Manager

Let's find out how to set up your company manager and ad account if you haven't already. You must first create a company manager account before you can build your first Ads. So you can effortlessly connect and share ad accounts, catalogue pages, Instagram accounts, and other resources.

Create Meta Business Account

Go to "business.facebook.com/overview" and then click "new account" to create a meta business manager account.

Adding Details

Click next after entering a name for your company, your name, and your work email address. Enter your company information and click submit.

After that, you'll be able to add assets to your business manager. Let's see how we can do it.

Let's begin by adding an ad account to the business manager.

Business settings and other option

Go to your business settings and select accounts from the left-hand menu. Then click the Ad Accounts button.

Adding an Ad Account

Select Add from the blue drop-down menu.

Select one of three options: add an ad account, request access to an existing ad account, or create a new ad account.

You must enter the ad account id if you desire to request access or add an ad account.

Select people and access levels by following the directions.

You can use similar options to add partners, which is useful if you operate with an agency.

Different categories of options are available for adding.

"People", which is useful if you're working with workers or freelancers, Instagram accounts, and catalogues are all options.

Authorisation that can be given

We can see what levels of authorisation we can give to the assigned partners.

There is one more step we recommend you do while getting everything set up. Make a group of commercial assets.

A business asset group is just a compilation of everything in your business manager for a single company.

This is especially helpful if you own several businesses or brands. It assists you in keeping everything organised. It also makes it simple to share materials with a collaborator, such as an agency. Let's go through it again.

Creating Business Asset Group

Here's how to set up a business asset group.

You'll return to your business settings.

Select the business assets group from the list of accounts. Click the + sign to add and then decide how to organise your assets. You can, for example, categorise them by brand line, area, agency, or something else entirely.

Enter the name of a company asset group. Something recognised in the future, and then press the next button.

Select all of the assets you want to add to this group and then click next.

It is optional, but you can delegate responsibility to this business asset group.

You'll utilise the toggles to set permissions if you want to sign these assets and permissions. Then click the Create button.

On-screen, you'll notice a confirmation that you've created your business asset group.

Now that you've got things in place, let's look at which ads to run first.

When you begin advertising on Facebook, you must plan the ads you will run because the sequence is important when collecting data.

Consider your advertisements to be data collection vehicles. Don't think about how many sales they'll bring you or how much they'll help your firm expand. At the very least, and especially at the start, you should view your advertising as a chance to learn more about your audience and what they like and dislike.

Facebook Marketing Funnel

Every ad you run, even if it doesn't achieve your goal, teaches you something that will help you better your text advertising in the future. In general, the first ad sequence I'm about to discuss with you is ideal for a small firm. It can and will vary depending on your business, product, and objective, but we'll stick to broad strokes for now.

A good Facebook marketing funnel looks something like this.

  • Number one, to increase brand awareness, employ targeting interests, lookalike audiences, locations, and so on.
  • Number two, focus on low-value behaviours that demonstrate interest, such as a page view, a video view, or account involvement.
  • Third, distinguish mid-range activities that demonstrate interest and intent, such as product views and lookalikes, from low-value actions.
  • Retargeting is the fourth step in recovering abandoned cards. Customers who have made a purchase can be upsold and cross-sold.

Facebook Marketing with a client

So, how would this work with a client? Let us go through it together. A similar procedure will be followed if we get a new client. We'll decide on their first objective. Typically, this is to establish a consistent flow of traffic to the website, landing page app, or whatever applies. We would like to build a retargeting campaign once we have 1000 hits or actions from my traffic campaign. It can be dynamic, displaying the products the user was looking at, or static. That is, everyone sees identical advertisements. We should prefer dynamic advertisements whenever possible.

We will also begin creating bespoke audiences based on site actions, which I will use as sources for my lookalike audiences.

A word of warning about lookalike audiences: they may not be as effective as they have been in the past due to Apple's lack of tracking. We would recommend running a b test with audiences as your variable to evaluate if lookalike audiences are effective for you.

Once we've identified a traffic and retargeting campaign that is producing the desired results, we create lookalike audiences and begin developing brand awareness and conversion ads for that group. Suppose lookalike audiences aren't working for that particular account. In that case, we'll focus on custom audiences based on action and pixel data, as well as incredibly good targeting.

Additionals

Here are a few more things you should do. While Facebook advertisements are a good place to start, you don't want to limit your advertising to only that platform. Certain components of your marketing will begin to function faster than others. Some of these are called long-term strategies, while others are called short-term tactics. Social ads are no longer a long-term plan. Results can be seen within as little as three months and occasionally sooner. Posting on company social media pages is a more long-term strategy.

Organic marketing can take six months to a year to actually take effect, depending on how much money you have to spend. Ideally, you should be working on more than one strategy at the same time.

We consider the following methods to be vital from the start for new enterprises.

Social Ads

The first is social ads. Depending on your budget, you may only be able to advertise on one network at first, which is alright. You need to get things going.

Organic Social Posts

You should post on a frequent basis and focus on engaging content. Spending money to boost posts and obtain paid likes can help accelerate this process and your growth.

Email Marketing

Email marketing is also recommended. Check to see if you're sending both organic and paid clicks. Your email list is a platform over which you have complete control.

Search Ads

We'd also like to offer search advertisements. These might be adverts on Google, Bing, or Pinterest.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the four major categories of Facebook advertisements?

Facebook ads are classified into four types: video ads, sponsored stories, promoted posts, and carousel ads. Each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Video adverts are similar to sponsored stories in that they both allow businesses to promote themselves to users.

Is Facebook still an effective marketing tool?

A recent poll of marketers found that Facebook is still one of the most effective social media marketing tools accessible.

Which Facebook ad is the most effective?

One of the most efficient Facebook ad styles for product positioning via remarketing in your sales funnel is the carousel ad. Carousel ads are more interactive than a single picture or video commercials, and they often improve engagement and time spent on the ad.
