Introduction

Blogger is a free blogging platform that is designed for ease. Blogger offers private and multi-user blogs with customizable templates, archive pages, time-stamped entries, and commenting capabilities. It also provides the ability to generate revenue with the help of Google's AdSense.

Google owns this platform, and users can link it with various other Google services/products, like photo-sharing site Picasa or social network Google+. This article will discuss how to use Blogger and its advantages and disadvantages.

How to use Blogger

The simplicity of Blogger is one of the features that attract more users. The customization possibilities in Blogger allow us to create a unique design with the ease of use that the Blogger backend provides. We can sign up for the Blogger with our google account. After signing up, we need to go to blogger.com and activate blogger on our account.

The Blogger hosts our blog for free with a free domain. It will have a URL based on the title we choose for the blog with the format as follows: [name_of_your_blog].blogspot.com. So if we created a blog called "I Love Coding Ninjas," the web address would be ilovecodingninjas.blogspot.com. After all these steps, we can say that our account for Blogger is ready to post blogs. So, let's see how to perform the basic operations on Blogger.
