As a Data Engineer, you will be working on databases, and data warehouses, creating dashboard metrics, and doing analytics on top of it. You will be writing queries to extract information meeting the business requirements. 

You must be familiar with the ETL pipeline (extract, transform, load).

You will mainly work on relational databases and data tools like TableauQuickSight, etc.

Phase 2

  • In this phase, after acquiring the basic knowledge mentioned above, you need to build some live projects and do some internships in this field.
  • Working on projects greatly aids in developing our understanding of the issues that arise and our problem-solving abilities, both of which are crucial components of any function.
  • So do projects and focus on learning maximum concepts from projects; this increases your practical skills and what exactly the company requires.
  • Build your portfolio as it includes all information about you, including your name, credentials, experience, extracurricular activities, and education. It contains everything you want a potential employer to know about you. Don't forget to include anything you worked on in your portfolio if you worked on a project or case.
