Working on the Network Security

Attacks can happen at any level of the network security model. There are many layers in the network security model. The motive of the model is to protect the data and the confidentiality of the companies. Three different types of controls are discuss as follows:

  1. Physical Security: It is the basic level of network security. It protects unauthorized users from gaining physical access to network components. These components include routers, cables, personal computers, etc. The devices like bio-metrics and retina scans prevent all these threats.
     
  2. Technical Security: The level that protects our data stored on the network or in the transmission stage. This level of security protects from unauthorized users as well as from malicious activities also.
     
  3. Administrative Security: It is the level of security that protects from user behaviour. It also defines the allotment of access to the users. It monitors and checks the authorization and rights given to the users.
