Problem Statement

There are three people, namely Ajay, Bhuvi, and Chandu. One of them is a missile, one a gun, and one a robot. The gun always speaks the truth, the missile always lies, and the robot can lie or tell the truth.

Statements :

Ajay: "Chandu is a missile."

Bhuvi: "Ajay is a Gun."

Chandu : "I am the robot."

Find out the missile, gun and the robot?

Solution

Ajay is the gun

Bhuvi is the robot

Chandu is the missile

Bhuvi is not the gun, since if she is, then Ajay would also be the gun. It is contradictory. Therefore, we can conclude here that Bhuvi is a robot who can either lie or tell the truth.

Chandu is also not the gun since his statement would then be a lie. Hence, we get a conclusion here that Chandu must be the missile that always lies.

Therefore, Ajay is the Gun, Chandu is the missile, and Bhuvi is the robot.
