About the TCS NQT Exam
TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) is an Ability test for candidates to assess their competencies and skills. Candidates who compete in this test get an NQT score that is, later on, applicable to all industries and job roles.
TCS NQT(Cognitive skills) is a prerequisite for all tests. TCS NQT scorecards are valid for two years. TCS NQT is conducted online (at home) and physically at TCS Authorised examination centers.

Eligibility Criteria for TCS NQT in 2024
The eligibility criteria for applying for the TCQ National Qualifier Test are as follows:
Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Diploma students in their pre-final year or a final year or who have passed out can apply for TCS NQT.
Students with any degree and specialization can apply for the same.
Freshers with less than two years of experience in their respective fields can apply for TCS NQT.

Foundation Section
In the Foundation section, the question time limit is 75mins, and the section is divided into the following four parts.
Traits: This section assesses the candidate's personality traits and behavioral skills. It tests the candidate's ability to work in a team, communication skills, leadership potential, and adaptability. The questions in this section are typically scenario-based and require the candidate to select the most appropriate response.
Aptitude: This section tests the candidate's numerical ability, problem-solving skills, and data interpretation skills. The Advanced section of TCS NQT Exam Pattern 2023 time limit is 90 min and is divided into the questions following three parts.
Advanced Aptitude: This section assesses a candidate's advanced mathematical and quantitative reasoning skills. It typically includes questions on probability, permutation and combination, number theory, and advanced data interpretation. The number of questions in this section can range from 10 to 15.

TCS NQT Syllabus Important Information
Following are some important information for TCS NQT Exam Pattern 2023:
Negative marking will not be there in the exam.
Switching between sections during the exam is not allowed.
Candidates cannot revisit the questions they have already answered.
Sub-section switching is also not allowed during the exam.
All questions in the exam are mandatory, and revisiting the questions is not allowed.
Shifting between browser tabs during the exam is not permitted, and doing so will result in immediate termination of the exam.
An AI system will monitor audio and video for candidates taking the exam from home.
A single teacher will proctor the exam for groups of over 20 students.
