  • You will be responsible for reviewing functional design documents to provide meaningful and timely inputs.
     
  • You will be responsible for studying technical documents and using them as input for creating testing strategies or plans. 
     
  • You will be responsible for creating comprehensive Test Plans that can describe the testing scope, techniques, strategy, approach, and test data that you will use to test new features.

  • You will be responsible for creating relevant test execution reports and bug reports and using them to convey the current state of the feature under test.
     
  • You will be responsible for collaboratively working with the design and development team members to resolve identified issues/bugs in a timely manner. 
     
  • You will be responsible for applying the functionality knowledge and understanding to determine the impacted testing areas and come up with the relevant regression testing scope, plan, and timelines. 
     
  • You will do the regression and exploratory testing along with planned and documented testing for new features.

  • You will also create automation scripts at API levels using Postman. 
     
  • You will be responsible for scheduling your automation test scripts and monitoring your automated test execution to determine the current health of the features under test.
     
  • You will be taking a stand and sharing views on the quality of the feature under test, backing it up with necessary data and metrics, and using it to provide (or not provide) release sign-off. 
     
  • You will also do the defect analysis of bugs found in the Production environment and come up with solutions to avoid these occurrences in the future.
