Good knowledge of BigData, Hadoop, Apache Hive, Sqoop concepts.
Exposure/Working experience on AWS Big Data Edition preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask on different work items , flexibility to shift timings including Canada day time shift
Well versed with Data Integration best practices and techniques.
Experience in on-call support of AWS based ETL & SPARK EMR application
Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting, DevOps CI and CD pipelines would be good to have.
Knowledge of Incident management, ticketing tools, escalation matrix and related operation support
Knowledge of scheduling tools like Autosys , Zeke
Exposure in troubleshooting of failures, Debugging and log monitoring skills
Provide on-call support for different BigData Ingestion Jobs during three different shifts on rotational basis.
Development, Testing and Support of AWS Bigdata, EMR,EC2,S3 using existing and emerging technology platforms
Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of root cause and impact of the defect.
Should be able to prioritize workload, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
Perform production support activities, which involve assignment of issues and issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs.
Coordinate with Teams for successfully deploy in both User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.
