    Assistant Manager/Manager - Indirect Tax - Manufacturing Sector (3-6 yrs)

    Job profile-

    - Responsibility to handle indirect tax including Customs, FTP, GST

    - Represent the company in front of tax authorities/ DRI for all audits, investigations, assessments, appeals

    - Understand and respond to technical issues related to Customs, FTP, GST

    - Coordination and interaction with consultants

    - Track latest developments / changes in indirect tax laws

    - Review compliance and suggest suitable improvement in existing process

    - Handle Indirect Tax litigations including Customs

    - Guide transaction processing team on their queries related to transaction implementation


    - Efficiently handle indirect taxes including litigations pending at various appellant authorities/ DRI

    - Provide support to all operational units within the company and plants

    - Complete audits and assessments from various tax authorities

    - Represent the legal entity in all tax authorities as and when demanded by authorities

    - Track recent development on Customs & FTP and implication on company

    - Responsible for compliance risk assessment (review each commercial transactions from tax compliance perspective)
