Position Title Business Analyst

Position reporting to Senior Vice President
As part of the central risk team, the role has 2 parts: Product design & maintenance, and Strategic Project management office. Within the product design and maintenance team, the role is to design new and maintain current applications, with end to end implementation. Within the Strategic Project Management Office (SPMO), the role is responsible for driving strategic agenda, maintaining rigour on governance boards and supporting internal communication on behalf of the senior management. The role will require engagement with a variety of stakeholders across the Group.
Manage project planning, scoping, estimation, tracking and ensuring implementation of project plans within defined timelines
Partnered with internal IT teams or external vendors in execution of the projects.
Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
Documentation of - As Is - vs. - To Be process flows, construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Perform user acceptance testing through self/teams for multiple applications/products, including developing / implementing / executing effective test plans and test cases.
Ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring in production
Managing queries, service requests, enhancements, bugs through team
Timely and effective execution of activities related to SPMO
Manage & execute data collection, analysis, & summarising conclusions
Support internal communications for senior management
Collaborating with various business groups and other key stakeholders to drive the projects
Preparation of executive dashboards and reports along with project tracking and status monitoring
Experience 0-2 years, experience in the BFSI sector an advantage
Exposure to preparing presentations, dashboards, and scorecards
Strong research and analysis skills to make sense of data and derive meaningful insights and KPIs
Stakeholder, people, team management skills
High proficiency in Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Excel
Basic understanding of technology and systems within BFSI sector
Using project management tools like Jira, Confluence etc.
Enterprising, quick learner, and take ownership of actions
Problem solving and result based approach
