    Job Description:

    A full time resource to support SPT Purchasing in a broad range of tasks including initial category/data analysis, invoice discrepancies resolution, new vendor set up/reactivation, running internal and external reporting and supporting Choice programs.

    Some of the roles and responsibilities

    Resolve Invoice Discrepancies
    • Identify root cause for invoice discrepancy, pricing discrepancies and work with US and Shanghai team to get them resolved. Resolve unit of measure error
    • Work with ROB (Reorder Buyer) to update the conversion factor to prevent future unit of measure issues, work with the returning team to return incorrect and excess products

    Initial Category Review
    • Review product categories for error in classification and correction.
    • Initial cost saving and choice opportunity analysis, direct vendor purchase opportunity analysis, MOQ Optimization analysis.

    Vendor Set-up assistance
    • Send out initial communication and forms, Follow up and collect forms
    Choice Program
    • Unlink old Choice component to base item , Link and log new Choice components
    Open Invoice and Weekly Overbill tracking reports.

    Required Skills

    • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office especially on Microsoft Excel
    • Strong verbal and written communication in English
    • Solid problem solver
    • Positive attitudes towards problems and likes challenges
    • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to details, thoughtful in considering all aspects of the problem and potential solutions
    • Intellectually curious eager to learn, quick learner and like to ask questions
    • Very organized in both file and data management
    • Strong drive for results with and strong work ethics
    • Ability to work independently and proactively
    • SAP experience will be added advantage

    Educational Qualification

    • Any Graduate / Post Graduate degree

    Work Experience:

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience
