Roles and responsibilities
Be a strategic finance business partner to business leaders and help drive transformation in their business through effective thought leadership supported by analytics, trends, local market knowledge and competitive business insights.
Be the go to person for all financial advise
Monitor and drive Go-live, renewals as well as any NPAs.
Coordinate with collections & sales team in driving resolution of problem areas.
Provide all aspects of financial support for planning and control
Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results
Prepare of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc. on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
Prepare recommendations based on analysis.
Perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level; track product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Compensation: set up quotas for sales organization and address any clarifications required
Participate in cross functional programs and projects
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to collaborate across functions. Minimum 10 years relevant work experience, preferably in MNC environment. CA/ICWA/MBA desired.
Serve as finance business partner to Sales Management team
Drives actions on transformation of business model thru insightful analytics, knowledge of competitive and market practices;
Supports Forecasting process through assessment of Likely Revenue, Headcount and Operating Expenses.
Responsible for budgeting and planning activities.
Perform quarter-end close activities finalization of Bookings, revenue tracking and review of financial results
Insightful and forward looking analytics that can be actioned by business partners
Responsible for validation and submission of sales compensation plans.
Cross group collaboration : Work with multiple stakeholders to optimize the process;
Communication skills : Excellent presentation skills as well as command on written and verbal language are critical competencies to be successful in this role
Independently manage business leaders expectations balanced with financial prudence
Solution oriented approach : Understand the process and be in a position to suggest way forward
