BUSINESS OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT
During their career at ZS, the individuals will get a chance to work on a variety of projects which can be largely classified into the following categories. Each specialization applies some unique skillsets to manage our client Business Operations programs.
Ops Analytics: Designing and executing analytic techniques to address business problems. Synthesize and communicating results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations. Ability to think through a solution by assessing business impact to existing and downstream systems. Knowledge of domain and analytical techniques/tools would be the important skills required for these projects
Data & Technology: Establishing a best-in-class incident, release, and change management process to enable business insights, and capability adoption. Enabling an effective ad-hoc management process and ability to think through a solution by assessing impact to existing systems. Data and domain knowledge would be important for success in these type of projects
Process Transformation: Operations management to achieve operations optimization, process transformation through process mapping and operations evaluation techniques, automation, advising internal and external teams on ways to improve operations
Business Operations Associate Consultants (BOACs) manage key work streams that support our clients' business processes and operations. They solve structured problems, develops best practices for operating and optimizing business processes, and plan to accomplish work duties for self and team members within required timelines
Understand client business problems, operating business rules, data, and standard operating procedures
Responsible for smooth operations of client business processes on a periodic basis. This includes synthesizing data, performing quality checks and delivering error free deliverables.
Apply quality assurance best practices and ensure team members learn and apply as well. Implements and automates detailed quality control procedures improving overall quality and decreasing overall time and effort.
Provides insights to the project team regarding results and possible areas for further analysis
Mentor, coach and guide associates in the team, often across multiple offices
Contribute to or help lead technology, process, or analytical discussions and finalizing the approach/solution
Communicate effectively with client over e-mail capturing right level of details. Create high impact slides and presentations summarizing the results and insights.
Follows up with team members for status updates and ensure project collateral is up-to-date for the work of the entire team (e.g. issue tracking and project management tools, project drive, etc.)
Collaborate and work closely with internal and client teams across geographies on an ongoing basis to ensure everyone is aware of periodic status updates, issue resolution and change control
Develop deep domain and data expertise and advise client and internal teams
Receptive to initiatives and flexible to adopt new approaches that lead to business operations excellence
ZS welcomes candidates with bachelor's or master's degrees in any engineering discipline, MIS, operations management or other relevant academic program, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. A demonstrated record of academic success is required.
