Domain knowledge

• Strong fundamentals in Strength of Materials, Machine Design, and Fatigue.
  
• FEA expertise in Chassis - Suspension
  
• Proficiency in HyperMesh, Abaqus & HyperView
  
• (Advantage) Experience with Fatigue evaluation (NCode)
  
• (Exposure) Optimization software (Optistruct, Mode Frontier)
  
• Understanding of physical testing.
  
• Ability to suggest countermeasures.

Job Description

• CAE modeling: Mesh, assembly, constraints, and loads for Chassis suspension components.
  
• Strength & Durability Analysis: Linear & Non-Linear analysis.
  
• Results Interpretation: Identify failure modes and propose countermeasures.
  
• Documentation & Communication: Document results and communicate with stakeholders.
  
• Testing Correlation: Correlate CAE results with physical tests.
  
• Value Enhancement: Support Value Enhancement proposals.
  

Skill set: Brakes NVH & Durability, Abaqus, Nastran

Domain knowledge

• Conducting NVH simulations to evaluate disc and drum brake performance, durability, and noise characteristics using CAE tools such as Abaqus & Nastran
  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and manufacturing to develop optimal brake solutions
  

Job Description

• We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Brakes CAE Analyst to join our team.
  
• The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive brake systems, with a strong focus on NVH & Durability analyses.
  
• The candidate should be familiar with state-of-the-art CAE tools, such as Abaqus and Nastran and have a strong understanding of brake fundamentals, materials science, and structural mechanics.
