Job Description

Job Summary:
The role is to be able to design and implement hybrid infrastructures (Cloud and private), design/implement/automate devOps as well as implement a container strategy (Docker, Kubernetes).
The candidate should be a seasoned System Engineer, with proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation solutions and a strong understanding of Cloud foundational technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:
Lead the acquisition, installation, maintenance and operations of infrastructure from on premise to cloud.
Develops system infrastructure testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
Contribute to the design of the target Hosting & Operations model according to the business needs in Cloud Environments.
Drive the transformation to the target model Work with Data Center and DevOps engineering teams and other key partners to deliver in Cloud services.
Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Develops system infrastructure testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical problems associated with specific projects.
Maintain the ability to deploy capacity with all the Cloud Service Provider.
Keep the technology environment operating and meeting the service level expectation at optimized cost.
Identifies creative solutions to improve system and product offerings.
Follow the incidents, problems, ensure RCA effectiveness and the implementation of the solutions
Take active part in the Hosting governance and security policies for cloud transitions

Required Candidate profile

Years of Experience:

5 to 7 years of Total Experience
Min of 4 years experience in Cloud Infrastructure

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or relevant disciplines OR equivalent work experience
Good communication skills.

Skill Set Required:

Primary Skills (must have)

4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and virtualization
Minimum 2 Years Solid background and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IAAS & PAAS (compute, networking, storage, load balancer, backup, NSG etc.) and Cloud Management Platform technologies
Experience supporting an environment running Microsoft Azure and Cloud Management Platform technologies.
Extensive experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems running as Virtual Machines and/or cloud instances.
Data center to cloud migration experience or 1-2 migration project experience.
Lead to the team of system engineers to work on migration projects in cloud environment.
Experience managing complex, high-value, infrastructure projects
Deep knowledge of Cloud services.
Solid understanding of networking, DNS, VLANs, Firewall, network segmentation, Storage, backup, Load Balancer, patch management, OSI model.
Strong analytical and conceptual problem solving skills with the ability to transform data into useful information.
Configure, administer, and operate highly scalable, available, and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices using Microsoft Azure.
Scripting experience Python, bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI.
Must have extensive hands-on experience & ability to hit the ground running and provide value immediately
Microsoft Azure certification is a plus
Mandatory familiarity across the full data center lifecycle from design and planning, to build-out, operations and DC migration

JIRA Experience
Excellent expertise on data center transformation and migration projects
Experienced in managing the delivery of a high-availability infrastructure to support mission critical systems and services
Experienced in IT Production based on ITIL best practices
