Content Editor

Job Description
Our Editorial department is in search of an experienced Content Editor to proofread and maintain high
standards of English for all content produced on our digital platforms.
The Editorial team acts as a guardian for the tone and language of Mordor Intelligence. The role includes
editing digital text in line with the house style guide, ensuring it is typo-free, well written and meets the
needs of our different audiences/ clients.
A successful candidate will have significant experience of being responsible for proofreading in a digital
environment, and of using a content management system. They will have worked with style guides; have
proven experience of working with different audiences, excellent organizational skills, as well as
excellent spoken and written English. The candidate should be comfortable working in a time-
constrained environment.
Role Competences:
If you wish to be considered for this role, you will need to address each of the following competences:
1. Significant experience of being responsible for proofreading in a digital environment
2. Demonstrable experience of delivering constructive feedback on the written work of those
producing digital content
3. Excellent written English
4. Solid experience of managing and developing style guidelines for digital content, and effectively
communicating them
5. Proven experience of ensuring editorial is consistently produced with the appropriate tone to
suit the requirements of different audiences
6. Excellent organizational skills, with the demonstrable ability to successfully set and manage
conflicting priorities
7. Ability to communicate clearly when talking with analysts/ clients
8. Minimum relevant experience of one year
Responsibilities:
Proofread and edit various publications (market research reports, magazines, newsletters, blog posts, etc. )
Coordinate with research managers and the digital marketing team to strategize the creation of the right content
Occasionally write copy for the website, newsletters, press releases etc
