    Function:
    Resource Mobilisation covers Institutional Partnerships, Corporate Partnerships, New Business Development and Individual Giving. The function raises restricted and unrestricted funds for the organisation, in accordance with the organisations strategic priorities. Individual fundraising is a part of resource mobilization department and works towards achieving the organisations goal by gathering voluntary contributions from individuals. This contribution comes through various mediums such as direct acquisitions, TV ads, digital, social media promotions, retention etc. IG function is committed towards bringing more and more funds to support our programmes and maintain a great donor relationship.

    Role purpose:
    DRTV Lead is responsible for growing the revenue from the organisations Individual supporters including monthly giving donors, and donors who support the organisation in emergency response / relief efforts.

    This post will champion a collaborative, insight based approach to developing and delivering integrated, cost effective campaigns.

    Role & responsibilities:
    Clearly articulate the value proposition of the organisation and develop annual work plans & budgets designed to achieve our revenue targets.

    Aggressive growth targets are established for this portfolio and the DRTV Lead will be the expected to track and monitor progress towards those targets.

    Work with Programs and Communications teams to ensure all direct response appeals align with organizational priorities.

    Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to develop strong compelling integrated appeals (mail, web, email, DRTV and telemarketing).

    Manage various direct response marketing initiatives including telemarketing initiatives, and other such mediums.

    Track performance within DRTV channel by appeal for profitability & volume, ensuring expense and revenue tracks are on budget, advising if variances are anticipated and suggesting mitigation strategies.

    Ensure there is a refreshed and active pipeline for monthly giving donors through careful segmentation of the database.

    Network with the organisation to share the ideas and leverage best practice from other offices.

    Other duties assigned by the Head of Fundraising.

    Measures of performance:

    Meeting business goals in teams of traffic as well as income, as per the national fundraising strategy.

    Achieving cost effective and quality output from vendors & agencies.

    Improved regular donor count & trail income.

    Relevance of appeals & response rate.

    As per Scheme of Delegation

    Reporting:

    Direct (solid-line) to: Acquisition Lead (Head)
    Direct reports (line management responsibility if any): DRTV Support Coordinator (1)

    Key relationships:
    Internal Stakeholders (Collaborates with):-
    Campaigns and Communication, Head of Programme & Policy, Growth Initiatives.

    External Stakeholders: Agency that manages the TV Campaigns for DRTV Fundraising.

    Required Candidate profile

    Candidate specification:
    Experience: (Essential required)
    Minimum 7 years of experience in DRTV Fundraising or DRTV marketing including management of DRTV operations for at least 3 years.

    A proven track record of success in achieving revenue targets associated with large direct response program.

    Experience with external suppliers and providing guidance or direction for creative and copywriting.

    Desirable (Asset).
    Experience in both profit and non- profit sector would be an asset.

    Qualifications:
    Graduation degree from reputed Institution

    Technical:
    Deep knowledge of development of direct response plans, budgets, performance metrics, analytics and on-going management and tracking of result.

    Highly motivated individual with a track record of success setting the strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of a programme of direct response advertising activity.

    An Individual with creative flair, an understanding of the drivers
    of response in video advertising, along with a rigorous approach to testing and analysis.

    Skills & Knowledge:
    Strong written and verbal English communication skills, solid knowledge of MS office applications.

    Strong organization, problem solving, and follow-up skills.

    Self motivated, mentally strong leader with an ability to inspire team members and keep the team together.
