Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Experience: 0.6 years and 3 years
NP:- Immediate to 30 Days
Maintain standard Operating Environment with images for quick roll out.
First Level support for all Desktop calls
Escalation and coordination with vendor and data center support for physical replacement (where applicable pending access and service contract provided by client)
Installation of Std. Desktop Operating Systems
Should be familiar with Desktop concept in an active directory environment.
Email client configuration/Outlook
Configuration of printer drivers for local and network printers on the desktops
Knowledge of LAN crimping
Provide on -site support for Customer approved patch/anti-virus updates through Central Antivirus Console / Central Patch Distribution Software
Backup Management based on built-in tools
Support for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client (Limited to configuration issues- No support for LAN devices)
Resolve Hardware problems or Escalate hardware problems for desktops to Suppliers.
