    Job Role Summary
    Responsible for project management, leadership and execution of a portfolio of Information Technology projects / programs; and ensuring alignment with IT standards and strategies. Accountable to manage IT projects, programs and portfolios using industry based, IT EPMO defined and regionally governed PM methodologies, best practices, processes and tools across a number of PM functional areas. Responsibilities include managing project / program scope, time (schedule), integration, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk and procurement activities and other PM deliverables. Develops and maintains relationships with Business Unit leads and leadership teams to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and the value to be delivered for those projects and programs. Service delivery management for third party flex partners. Managed or creation of PMO Competency, Managing various PMO Managers.

    The role will be responsible for successfully executing and guiding the projects and/or programs that are supported by the Business Unit PMO. The role holder will manage PMO Team Members (i.e., Project Analysts, Program Office Coordinators, Project Managers, Program Managers) and work with the leadership team in the implementation and use of the XIM standard program/project management practices (procedures, processes, templates, tools) to support the planning and execution of the programs and projects. The role will have a dotted relationship to EPMO and will be accountable for the project execution and project consistency

    Main Responsibilities:

    Accountable and responsible for the execution of the project portfolio within scope of the PMO, including management project interdependencies to ensure smooth overall project/program execution

    Monitors areas of significant program risk in conjunction with the Leadership Team and manages PMO level and escalated project issues to resolution.

    Ensures project managers have appropriately scoped, planned and resourced their respective efforts and that sponsors approve.

    Ensures that all necessary project management deliverables are completed consistently and in sufficient detail to provide for adequate management and control.

    Interacts with EPMO to resolve escalated risks and issues above the PMO authorization level

    Interacts with EPMO on decisions or resolutions that are Enterprise level issues

    Coordinates the mandated Quality Assurance planning; ensuring that follow-up items are completed.

    Provides independent QA of a sample of deliverables and project processes; Participates in formal program and management reviews.

    Manages the personnel on the PMO team including directing, coordinating, coaching, and reviewing.

    Facilitates the planning and coordination of all PMO team activities.

    Manages the day-to-day activities of the PMO, monitoring the demand for PMO services and resolve discrepancies between supply and demand

    Identifies key process issues facing the supporting effort and develop a set of priorities for improvement.

    Ensures project consistency and implements PMO process and procedures based on the requirements of the EPMO.

    Identifies barriers to change within the effort and make recommendations to improve the probability of success.

    Contributes to the development of new and improvement of existing PMO processes and procedures.

    Produces monthly PMO Portfolio and executive summary reports.

    The role will have a dotted relationship to EPMO.

    Certification Details
    Minimum : PMP or equivalent Project Management certification
    Preferred : Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
    Managed various PM reporting

    Managed PMO Competency

    Experience in project risk management

    Experience in relationship management and business development

    Ability to perform critical analysis of large complex programs/projects

    Ability to perform feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses

    Ability to effectively interview and interact with project executive sponsors, project team and external consultants

    Expert level understanding of PMI or similar methodology.

    Working understanding of risk management

    Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment

    Demonstrated influence and credibility with senior IT and business management.

    Has proven project management and leadership skills and a good knowledge of business analysis.

    Experience in vendor management

    Knows XIM policy framework, management structures and reporting procedures for all aspects of the programs environment.

    Has strong planning, communication and presentation skills and is proficient in project quality management.

    Strong process improvement background

    Experience with change management techniques / driving cultural change

    Strong metrics development and management

    Ability to connect functional teams with technical teams to achieve effective solutions

    Strong strategic business acumen

    Ability to translate business acumen into actionable plans

    Well-developed leadership abilities to build positive relationships and handle conflict resolution

    Advanced proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
