    CDM Smith is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our Business Technology team to provide first response support for end user hardware and software incidents.

    Escalates and assigns incidents to other IT staff members and ensures timely resolution of service requests
    Troubleshoots 1st and 2nd tier incidents and responds to IT related requests for information via phone, email or through the incident tracking system
    Utilizes support software to remotely assist staff as required. Interfaces with global IT staff to resolve incidents for staff in all CDM Smith offices worldwide
    Escalates issues as needed
    Updates incidents and requests using internal tracking system
    Participates in IT meetings and group discussions related to service requests and active projects
    Supports major modifications to the global IT infrastructure and software environment as required

    *Minimum Qualifications
    1 year of experience
    Good interpersonal and customer relations skills
    Proficiency in written and verbal communications
    Good organizational skills
    Use of problem solving techniques and systems analysis
    Experience with IT Service Management tools
    Requires practical knowledge of IT related hardware, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows operating systems
    Experience supporting wireless and wired networks and there interoperation with computer systems
    Availability to work on-call at least one weekend per month
    Preferred Qualifications
    Associates degree in Computer Science
