    Role Overview: We, at Zolo, are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can who can spearhead our Kitchen unit, PAN India. The ideal candidate should have 6-10 years of experience in F&B Production in the context of Hospitality, Hotel, Big Food Chain Restaurant or Catering industries in Indian cuisine. The role holder is responsible for managing and implementation of an effective strategy with regards to menu, food hygiene, cost control, maintaining food safety standards and periodic review of menu for the Zolo properties in close alignment with the company's policies & business strategies. He/She would work closely with the Operations Team and the top management at Zolo in driving all the activities.

    About the Role / Responsibilities:

    The role of the Executive Chef would encompass the following:

    Manages all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum departmental profit

    Implement standard operating procedures to improve the process & performance.

    Maintains a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standards and procedures and oversees their implementation.

    Ensure proper presentation of the department, products & services to meet company set standards.

    Implements and ensures strict implementation of standard recipes cards in all the Zolo properties.

    Monitor guest feedback continuously to ensure improvement in process.

    Achieve maximum efficiency from the team and all other available resources.

    Maintain proper communication in the department by conducting daily/weekly briefings & training.

    Control & monitor all departmental costs on a regular basis to ensure performance against budget.

    Develops with the Food and Beverage manager popular menus offering guests value for money

    Plans and organizes with the Food and Beverage manager successful Food and Beverage activities in the hotel

    Monitors local competitors and compare their operation with the hotel Food and Beverage operation

    Desired Experience / Background:

    Prior Experience: We are looking for a young and energetic team player with 6-10 years of experience in F&B Production roles; any experience withHospitality, Hotel, Big Food Chain Restaurant or Catering industries in Indian cuisine would be preferred.

    Key Skill Sets: Strong skills required in customer centricity, ability to represent Zolo brand to customers, team management, Manu Planning, Overall Production Management, Recipe Standardization, Training to staff, Indian Cuisine.

    Educational Background: Diploma/Degree from Hotel Management College/Institute

    Zolostays has a vision of creating Food Services as a unique differentiator for Co-living, with independent deliverables and economics. Currently, the F&B teams are structured by city and catering to 30,000 meals per day. This is set to grow to over 1 lakhs meals a day within the next 12 months. In the longer run Zolostays also has the vision to create F&B as a separate business unit, also catering to external customers.
