    The Head - Operations is a Strategic Business Leadership officer of the Hospital and the position is accountable for specific agreed deliverables to the Management with the primary authority and responsibility for Designing, Managing and ensuring smooth and effective day-to-day operations and implementing best practices in Hospital Administration Practices to the development of the Patient Care, Administrative Services, Governing Policies and Standard Operating Procedures besides evaluation of clinical programs in association with Medical Superintendent / Consultants, to deliver smart healthcare services, affordable offerings, competitive packages, cost effective operational procedures, support services and program administration for the Hospital.
    • Will be responsible for Turnover and adhering to operative margins as per the business plan
    • Ensuring financial effectiveness and short / long-range planning of the Hospital and for the respective Divisions performance.
    • To plan and develop, self-supportive revenue generating programs from autonomous departments as appropriate
    • Forecasting and addressing demands
    • Identifying and concentrating on profitable service lines.
    • Monitoring costs to keep them at optimum level
    • Develop department wise Operating policies which focus on the care of the patient and promote retention of prospective customer
    • Allocating resources to the various functional units on the basis of the business plan
    • Planning and reviewing the execution of operational tasks like infrastructure growth, recruiting, performance reviews and compensation, budgeting and accounting.
    • Establishing MIS in critical areas to help reporting and problem solving
    • Ensuring seamless information flow
    • Providing details on functional and process challenges and solutions for the same, to the managers, associates & external entities, to guide them towards meeting the desired objectives.
    • Defining parameters for the measurement of service quality.
    • Evaluating performance against such parameters.
    • Representing the organization at external forums and contribute to building a positive external image of the organization.
    • Devising and implementing control mechanisms to address variances.
    • Developing consensus among the professionals on matters related to operation, prior to the development of the budget.
    • Devising ways to improve the operational efficiency
    • Monitoring and reviewing all patient related services to ensure high degree of customer satisfaction index.
    • Employee training and staff welfare.
    • Develop innovative / effective strategies for responding to changing economic, social and political conditions
    • Employee career planning and growth
    • Collaborate with Clinical and other professional staff in developing, implementing and evaluating policies and programs for continual improvement in the delivery of high quality and cost effective care and services.
    • Assisting in reviewing the organizational climate.
    • Finalization of KRAs of the departmental staff
    • Highlight, strategic and operational problems and issues in day-to-day transactions and to work jointly for inclusive solutions
    • Evaluating and providing feedback
    • Coordinating with HR / Quality for the implementation of policies and processes and for obtaining various quality certifications.
    • Identifying performance targets and accountabilities for the functional units
    • Ensuring that Clear and effective methods of Communication are in place between the staff of Operations and Medical Administration / other departments / other related service providers
    • Identifying and addressing deviations and its relevant causes.
    • Perform such other duties as may from time-to-time be assigned by the CEO / Management
