    Organization Relationship

    - Reports to : CEO

    - Supervises : Finance & Accounts, Secretarial & Legal, Commercial Logistics

    - Functional relationship with : All Functional Heads

    Responsibilities :

    i. Strategic Financial Planning

    - Evaluating business plans and strategies for maximizing profitability, revenue generation & realize organizational goals, Risk analysis for business, management discussion and analysis, financial presentations.

    - Managing finance functions like determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies and procedures to facilitate internal financial controls.

    ii. Finance & Audit :

    - Instrumental in exercising strict budgetary controls over expenditure incurred and detailing the explanation of the expenditure variance reports (Actual vs. Budgeted Expenses) and thus facilitating decision making process

    - Advise and supervise finance functions including determining financial objectives, designing and implementing Systems, Policies & Procedures to facilitate internal financial control

    - Play pivotal role in evaluation of financial position of the organization by computation of relevant ratios and capitalization of assets for daily operations

    - Key role in acquisitions, mergers take-over and joint ventures

    - Performing analytical review of financial statements, Fund raising, Working capital management.

    - Coordinate with Internal and Statutory Auditors for conducting periodic audits; evaluate Internal Control Systems to identify the flaws and implement necessary processes to overcome the defects in the existing system

    iii. Taxation / Statutory Compliance :

    - Tax planning, Interfacing with taxation authorities for timely filing of TDS, GST and income tax assessments and filing of various forms, returns etc. required under various statutes.

    - Ensuring adherence to Companies Act and preparation of annual returns & forms. Ensuring regulatory compliances, payments of license fee, revenue share,GST, withholding taxes etc.

    - Handling finalization of annual statement of accounts

    iv. Fund Sourcing & Budgetary Control :

    - Liaising and negotiating with banks for raising fund and non-fund based facilities to finance capacity expansion projects, working capital.

    - Co-ordination with of Banks, Financial Institutions on matters of Corporate Finance, Working Capital Requirements, Term Loans and L/C matters, Lease and Hire Purchase Finance, Bank Guarantee Limits

    - Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.

    - Meticulously scrutinize projects to determine the financial benefits/ implications attached and examined the financial viability of project proposals to select profitable ones

    - Review business proposals and forward it to financial institutions for procuring funds in cost effective manner

    - Negotiate/ liaise with the banks & financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based facilities at favorable terms to meet working capital requirements

    v. MIS :

    - Supervising the preparation of MIS reports on financial performance viz., preparation of Monthly Profitability Statements - Income / Expenses, product-wise sales analysis, revenue expenses - comparative analysis, debtor/creditor ageing analysis, formulating operating budgets and conducting variance analysis & cash flow analysis.

    - Monitoring the movement of key business indicators and facilitate decision-making process.

    - Preparing financial reports to determine the financial viability, projecting cash flow and growth opportunities while preparing projected financial statements.

    - Reconciliation of Inventory, Purchase and Sales

    This is a broader scope of work, however, the Investors & Directors reserves the right to add, change, alter and reassign any other area of work to you, according to the needs and exigencies of work.

Desired Candidate Profile

    Academic Qualification & Experience :

    - Professional, qualified accountant - CPA, CA,CFA or similar

    - Proven track record in Finance & Accounts at multiple levels, for minimum of 10 years, at least 5 of which should be at a senior level.

    Knowledge of :

    - Reporting systems and MIS

    - Accounting Standards & GAAP

    - Legal & Statutory compliance

    - Automation process /IT

    - Exposure to ERP

    - Strong commercial acumen


UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
