Develop and maintain product related help/documentation by adhering to guidelines/direction and deadlines established by project lead and defined by release schedule. The documentation can include but is not limited to:
Requirements for new developments
User Manuals
Release Notes/Release Instructions
Online and Embedded Help
Support Training initiatives and provide technical writing support (i.e., Training Workbooks, Instructors Guides, Quick Reference Cards, Presentations, etc.) by adhering to guidelines/direction and deadlines established by training lead and defined by release schedule.
Conduct testing of pre-release candidates according to release schedule. Identify defects and document applicable information related to defect.
Support Product Management initiatives and provide technical writing support (i.e., maintaining product management intranet page including: reports, enhancement descriptions, specifications, meeting minutes, etc.) on an as needed basis.
Support Implementation initiatives and provide technical writing support (i.e., Getting Started Guides, Implementation Materials, etc.) on an as needed basis.
Maintain intimate familiarity with products and their functionality.
Provide internal product reference.
Leadership and Working with Others:

Skills & Knowledge :
Must have in minimum a BE/B.Tech/B.Sc + MCA/BCA + MCA degree, with a Technical Communications, English, Journalism, Education, or Training focus preferred
3-5 years of technical writing experience for software products
Knowledge of printing industry is preferred but not required
Portfolio that shows previous work or demonstrates writing ability
Ability to write documentation that adheres to specific style standards
Able to work independently within guidelines provided
Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams a plus
Ability to plan, structure and write user guides and help systems with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, writing, editing, and project management skills
Experience of working in teams of technical writers/communicators
Great organizational and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and work with unfamiliar tools
Attention to detail
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals
