Job Description

Work youll do
As an Instructional Designer you will work closely with the Technical Training Manager and will be charged with developing technology training programs for GlobalAdvantage and its suite of applications, leveraging multiple delivery options to reach a large, global internal and external audiences with differing levels of initial understanding. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Assessing technology training needs
Contributing towards definition of training approach, strategy and plan
Defining training requirements per module, translating requirements into detail design and storyboards for each module, working alongside content SMEs each step of the way; ensure training meets objectives
Leading USI L&D teams (as needed) to build eLearning modules
Creating learning materials, participant guides, trainer guides and job aids based on needs
Coordinating training logistics and training courses within LMS
Conducting training pilot and train-the-trainer sessions (as applicable)
Developing application training using a variety of instructional techniques and formats including eLearning, virtual-instructor led, as well as live-instructor led
Evaluating training effectiveness and maintaining records of the same and of training activities
Deploying post-training support materials and refresh training
Building a reference knowledge base for the GlobalAdvantage suite of expatriate technology applications
Supporting ongoing GES Technology team operations
Mentoring other trainers in the subject matter, content, and course development techniques for assigned technical programs

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years of Overall experience

Minimum 2 Years experience in a technical trainer role developing training, preferably technology application-based training
Minimum 2 years of experience designing and developing blended learning solutions
Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing structured learning frameworks/approaches such as ADDIE
Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing authoring tools (e.g., Captivate, Articulate Storyline)
Track record of successful training development of complex subject matter in global environment to diverse audiences using multiple delivery methods (e.g., eLearning, virtual-instructor led)
Strong desire to deliver results and impact
Ability to learn and understand expatriate processes and complexities
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbal
Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills
Desire to work in a matrixed organization with a global audience
Master of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
A Bachelors degree, ideally in business administration, communications, or training related field
Office location Hyderabad, India
Periodic domestic as well as international business travel may be required up to 25% (Dallas, TX, US; London, UK)
