This Job will play a key role in developing FEA models to accelerate product development and verification. Individuals has to apply modelling skills, basic materials knowledge, connection skills, and best practices to support the team on building a quality model to meet the pre-defined CAE assessment requirements for various attributes such as Durability, NVH and Safety.
Key Skills & Knowledge in:
Proficiency in Hypermesh
Exposure to automotive interior systems
Perform mid plane, tetra and hexa meshing
Perform quality checks for different profiles such as dyna, abaqus, Nastran and moldflow
Clearing Intersection and penetration
Perform interior connection for profiles such as dyna, abaqus and Nastran
Basic knowledge in CAE
Basic knowledge of scripting
Educational qualification : Diploma/B.E (Mech/Prod/Auto/Aero)
Years of experience : 2 Years
Professional Experience : Hypermesh and 1 year specific experience in Interiors
Liable for modeling and delivery of interior trims and assemblies that meet project milestones and analysis requirements.
Incorporating robust engineering practices into modeling by following the standard and best practices in modeling
Ensure on time model delivery with appropriate quality
Keeps abreast of new tool updates, basics of FE and technical terms.
Managing the customer interface
Interactive member of technical cross-functional teams providing technical expertise, innovation and teamwork.
Use technical expertise to generate creative and innovative solutions.
Schedules periodic project status updates.
Knows and uses various management systems to track model builds and document to be maintained. (Excel & PowerPoint)
Support FE model build activities such as mid surface extraction, mid plane mesh, tetra mesh, mid plane tria mesh, Outer mesh and Hexa mesh as per project requirement on day to day basis.
Provide design changes in FE without cad to run CAE iterations
With upright experience estimate modeling time and promise delivery deadlines
Carry out cad study/clarify queries and document the same.
Enhance Modeling capabilities with continuous enhancement to existing methods and processes; and by adapting state of art technology from the market.
Perform connection within parts and between assemblies
Conducting model assessment check runs before delivery to ensure modeling and analysis risks are addressed
Debug errors accounts for quality and make sure model meets the quality requirements
Adopt and work according to the customer vital priorities
Work with team members and team leads effectively to achieve desired delivery in alignment with the companys goal
Knowledge of MS Office programs like PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts in English (both verbal and written)
