The purpose of the Key Account Manager role is to achieve sales and activity within defined key accounts across. Generate new business leads and create a positive environment for current and future. Identifying Key stake holders in key accounts and strategize.
The ability to build the concept of Nutrition with the help of various speakers and hold HCP meetings on regular basis.
To develop and implement local account plans, working across targeted HCP / Departments / Dietician / Nursing & other key stake holders of the account.
Influence accounts and other key decision making units across the departments.
Account management responsibility- Deliver on the said targets shared, based on the potential of the account.
Ability to build trust and develop relationships with all stakeholders
Build long-term strategic relationships within your territory that sets guidance at a local level.
Have a broader understanding of other spheres of influence outside of your immediate coverage.
In depth understanding of Hospital/local policy and how this may or may not impact.
Ability to influence and shape Nutritional practices in the said accounts.
Lead & work with Consultants to support their knowledge and understanding the sphere of Influence.
Support overall team with the understanding of market access needs and ensure budget is managed and used appropriately.
Know the products. Undertake timely and effective implementation of companys product promotion plan to enhance distribution penetration and improve visibility of the company and its brands.
Maintain records and send reports including tour programs, daily, weekly reports, expense claims, orders and information about competitive products and activities
Develop working relationships with healthcare professionals to effectively influence adoption pathways and purchasing decisions, building customer acquisition, retention, advocacy and loyalty
Work collaboratively with other Sales and Marketing Team colleagues to ensure that business objectives are achieved

Desired Candidate Profile
Proven track record of high level sales experience, preferably with wider experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales or commercial roles
High level of commercial acumen with experience in managing a promotional budget.
Sound understanding of business planning and account management skills .
Comprehensive understanding of Account practices and solutions.
Effectively manages and prioritises available resources.
Effective communication skills.
Analytical thinking and decision making.
Action oriented, energetic and results focused.
