    Job Description

    The Technical Project Manager position within CTS Infrastructure Operations Center is responsible to Manage and Support the Network Infrastructure within the data center and technology - based process improvement to organizations based on best practices and industry standard methodologies. Responsible for taking a lead in the overall definition, planning, delivery, and support of technical implementations within Operations Center. This will include scheduling, managing resources and managing quality projects throughout the development lifecycle to ensure world - class service is provided by delivering timely, high quality deliverables. You should be a good team player and a Subject matter expert with in - depth understanding of Network concepts from Switching, Routing, Firewalls, ACI Technology and Load balancers. Should also have sound knowledge on the monitoring concepts to manage and build monitoring solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring and support of the LAN / WAN infrastructure in a 24x7 operations center environment. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems across a broad range of technologies.

    As a Project Manager, you will liaise with management and engineers and work in close cooperation with their divisions of CTS. Strong communication skills and an ability to work with all levels of personnel and management are essential. Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality and customer - service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, implementing changes.

    Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

    8+ Years Network Support experience / NOC / Monitoring related A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP / IP networking

    Strong knowledge of LAN \ WAN environments including IP internetworking

    Knowledge of MPLS, Optical Networking, and IP Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF and BGP)

    In - depth knowledge of network management, availability and capacity monitoring tools

    In - depth knowledge network monitoring tools preferably two

    Working knowledge on Cisco Technologies / Hardware and monitoring tools

    Must possess the initiative to resolve issues before they become critical

    Ability to work assigned night or day schedule

    Ability to work in a team environment

    Provide on - call support

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    Current CCNA / CCNP, Palo Alto, F5 etc. certification

    Previous Network Operations Center experience

    Working knowledge of common network monitoring such as Cisco Prime, OpenNMS and NetScout

    Experience with Cisco ONS Optical and ASR Routing platforms

    Experience with Cisco ACI and Nexus platform

    Experience with ITIL Process

    Knowledge in SAN, Virtualizations and windows will be added advantage

    Working Knowledge on Automation

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Propensity for knowledge sharing

    Strong organizational skills

    Innovative, self - motivated, and able to interact with all levels of the organization

    Create, monitor and report project performance, managing project resources and timelines to ensure on - time delivery without sacrificing high quality standards

    Motivates project team members to action. Identifies common themes, makes inferences and draws conclusions.

    Builds coalitions among the various stakeholders; negotiates authority to move the project forward.

    Identify risk areas and provide alternate strategies to address concerns.

    Provide appropriate, timely and satisfactory resolution to issues identified during the project cycle.

    Deliver cross organization liaison and communications to ensure full understanding of all teams impacted by project

    Exerts strong influencing skills to impact choices on immediate and long - term directions.

    Understands and effectively use established policies and procedures. Develop process improvement strategies to better streamline the Project Manager activities along with implementing process improvements to project delivery.

    Prioritizes own and team s work. Anticipates consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change.

    Independently manage significant issues and projects of a unique nature, if little existing process is currently in place

    Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

    Travel up to 20% based on business need

    Additional Information
