Key Responsibilities : Plan and implement low to medium risk changes on production systemsAnalyze and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on production systemsResolve standard incidents affecting the operation/availability of systemsMonitor vendors release notes and plan necessary upgrades and patches as requiredAssist disaster recovery testsReview the problem management register and identify and implement actionsMake pro-active suggestions for services
Technical Experience : Installation, Maintenance , Administration and Troubleshooting User and password Administration Unix scripting Working in change controlled production environments Experience in File systems, LVM Experience in Network File systems Experience in patch and package Administration Experience in start-up and shutdown of Operating Systems HP Blade Firmware and Hardware up gradation Basic knowledge of clustering
