  • Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

  • Job Requirements : Key Responsibilities : Provide technical support for the critical technical issues. Manage team and plan works by following ITIL process. Make sure incidents and changes are handled properly as per process. Making sure SLA are met 100Take part/ handle/implement complex technical works. Manage team and prepare rota for the 24x7 support. Perform evaluation on new products requested by SDMs and report it. Prepare technical documents/ presentation for the team mates. Update run books regularly with new findings and updates.

  • Technical Experience : Minimum 9 Nine years of experience in the relevant skill. Strong knowledge on Linux Certification preferred. good bash/korn scripting knowledge. Working experience on Solaris/AIX. Must have knowledge on Red Hat Cluster setup. Good exposure in troubleshooting. Should have depth knowledge in filesystem management Implementation experience of Redhat Cluster. Must be able to debug bash/ korn shell scripts. Should be able to create new scripts to automate process.

  • Professional Attributes : Must know and implemented DNS in Linux boxes. Strong hands on experience in handling and setting up Redhat Satellite server. Technical document writing skill. Able to perform technical presentation if required. Must have certification in any flavor of LinuxMust be ITIL certified
  • Educational Qualification : Graduate is preferred
  • Additional Information : Should be able to troubleshoot issues related to Linux and isolate the issue area.
