Digital Advertising Sales:
Regalix is offering a comprehensive Customer Acquisition Service in the digital ad sales space to a premium news publishing platform. The solution would help the premium publisher expand its advertiser portfolio in the SMB segment. A team of qualified media sales executives would be running the overall engagement. This team would be responsible for identifying key advertisers, onboarding them onto the publishers platform and actively offering them media solutions for advertising on the platform. The team would be led by a media sales consultant, who would head the process of targeting organizations and contacting them, advising them on leveraging the publishing medium for attaining their advertising objectives and helping them achieve campaign success.
The offering would largely cater to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, owing to the publishers extensive regional reach.
Role: Ad Sales - Sr. Executive
1. Pitching and acquiring clients to advertise on the inventory for the premium publisher network.
2. Assisting in identifying key accounts in the SMB segment for active cold calling by media sales executives, on behalf of the premium publisher.
3. Setting up a team of media sales executives/ account management executives.
4. Strategizing for key account cohorts: pitch for cold calling, solution for campaign strategy, campaign performance monitoring for continuous engagement and upselling strategy.
5. Training the media sales executives on creating pitches, providing media planning advisory, coming up with custom solutions and providing customer support.
6. Equipping the team in evaluating campaign success across advertiser segments, preparing advertising schedules, advising on inventory buying.
7. Building a sales pipeline that would be actively pursued by the team of sales executives.
8. Operating as an industry expert: He/ She will advise on industry-specific data, whats working, what is not, advise on competitive strategies.
Possesses hands-on experience in media planning/ digital ad sales.
Needs to possess a wide-spanning network of digital advertisers esp. in regional markets
Has played a consultative role to advertisers and publishers for media planning.
Understands the dynamics of media sales, can provide key industry insights, can come up with data-backed pitches on a case to case basis.
Has an analytical bent of mind.
Has excellent communication skills, has experience in leading a team.
Is sales-driven, passionate and innovative.
4+ years of experience in media buying, digital advertising/ programmatic advertising.
