Job responsibilities: Implement Legal strategies by pre-empting likely changes in the legal environment to reduce number of litigations against the company. Coordinate & follow up with relevant stakeholders and empanelled lawyers for taking effective steps in ongoing legal cases in various Labour courts / Ind. Tribunal and other Labour Authorities. Regular monitoring and follow up of the legal cases and prepare strategic action plan and preparing response to notices received from statutory authorities / individuals. Addressing Queries related to Labour Laws and providing guidance in Domestic Enquiry to the HR managers Prepare Learning modules for HR Executives on different Labour Law subjects with latest amendments and conduct training sessions for them. Research on critical Labour Law issues related to the company and advise management on legal implications of HR policies and procedures. Provide regular update about the developments on notification of Labour Codes as well as any amendments / circulars /notifications regarding Labour laws by the Govt. and prepare follow up actions for implementation of its key provisions by the stakeholders on pro-active basis. Stakeholder management to gain and provide support (critical stakeholders and legislative / government bodies/ courts etc.) in legal matters.
Minimum Qualification: B.A LLB or B.B.A LLB ( 5 Year Course) or MBA in HR or equivalent/ MA in HR/ MSW , preferably with LLB
Minimum Experience: 0-10 Years for candidates from institutes like XLRI, TISS, MDI Gurgaon, XIMB, IIM Ranchi, XISS, SIBM, SCMHRD. 3 - 10 years of Experience for candidates from other institutes Experience in Legal/IR function of a large manufacturing setup ( viz. handling legal issues concerning labour laws, experience of representing cases in various courts, system & process design wrt Legal processes and policies, statutory compliances etc.)
