The Key Account Manager Four wheeler - Automotive will be holding the responsibility of managing key customer accounts and overall day-to-day business relationship for strategic accounts. These accounts consist of OEMS, Tier 1 suppliers to Indian OEM's for Motion Control Products- Mechanical Control Cables, Transmission Cables, Analog and Digital Clusters, related products and more.
Achieve business targets as agreed in KRA sign offs
Actively manage and support new program launches at key Tier 1 accounts
Identify and build relationships with targeted list of accounts
Ensure program timing is met by fully understanding customer requirements, due dates etc. and managing internal actions to ensure timelines are met.
Provide support to customers throughout build-out process, keeping them informed of progress, seeking their feedback
Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure accounts are set-up for timely payment
Monitor production of products, and identify growth and future needs of clients
Interface with industry groups and standards committees, as necessary
Complete monthly performance reports on target account activity, major design opportunities and forecasts to VP -Sales and Marketing
Communicate plans and client needs to product development team and upper management
Communicate market and competitive information learned through sales activities to the automotive team and upper management
Maintain a high level of awareness in regards to industry trends and competitive activity within the territory.
Drive sales growth through maximization of resources and execution of market segment strategies.
Effectively communicate with all other Automotive team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth.
