Job Description

Operates and maintains the hardware and software systems for Atlas (Vodafone Internal Users end tool to check and answer customer query for existing network status, Maintenance activity and new coverage rollout etc. ) ; NSC (VodafoneCustomer can check 2G, 3G and 4G network status along Planned activity/ Unexpected issue at their location and can register complaint.) ; CC (Vodafone Customercan check 2G, 3G and 4G serving area through postcode, location etc. along withIndoor and outdoor signal capacity.)

. Continuously improves systemperformance and optimizes the existing ways of working. Adapts and contributesto the customization of hardware and software solutions based on customer requirements, delivering cost efficient services of high quality. Aims to resolve incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements. Customiseand develop codes to fix the issues / to provide the work around to the issuesas pert of L3 team

Minimum 10 to 12 years of work experience in IT OSS Application Support as L3

Minimum 9 years of experience in development/ L2/ L3 support of fault and performance management, Atlas, GIS

Managing applications in terms of configuration, changes, implementation, rollout and preparation for all operated services including on call duties

Performs health checks and troubleshooting activities in order to maintain the functioning state of the hardware and software systems, using the available tools

Resolving incidents, problems and service requests including implementation of workarounds and changes. This includes timely availability of major incident reports for any major incident and actively driving the implementation of appropriate counter measures

Support the System integrator in deploying the HW, Connectivity and deploying the EMS and NMS systems at the primary and secondary datacentres

Managing or executingthe deployment of BAU patches, hot fixes in line with change management process

For some of the delivered solutions, modifies and adapts theexisting software in order to reach better performance and customer experience.

Stakeholder Management

Hands on experience on performance Management & fault management systems.

Sound knowledge on Service & Network Assurance Side

UNIX based operating systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux

Sound Knowledge on Unix Shell Scripting and Python

Databases such as Oracle SQL, Oracle Exadata, MySQL, Sys admin,

protocols such as : SNMP, CORBA, SOAP/ XML

Experience in a multinational environment

Very good communication skills

Techlead to the team and must have strong technical skills to support team as SME

Certifications in Linux/ unix; Experience in pro bing tools in a telecom environment


Education:UG -B.Tech/B.E. - Electronics/Telecommunication
PG - Post Graduation Not Required
