    Summary of Position: This is a senior management position charged with dual responsibilities of public health research and business development and quality management of product delivery, within and outside the country. The broad gamut of challenges relate on the one hand to key responsibility to lead business development and quality oversight of product delivery while on the other hand provide lead to health policy research and formulation, strategy design and planning, health systems development covering areas such as Governance, MIS, Financing, Service Delivery, PPP, BCC, HR, Institutional Development, Capacity Building and Project Management. 3. Detailed Responsibilities: • Keep abreast with emerging issues and track developments in the field • Concurrent search, identification and selection of new opportunities and clients, within and outside the country, to continuously expand client base; • Acquisition and analysis of information and plans of existing/ new clients, programmes/ projects; • Client engagement and activities management; • Lead acquisition of business from existing and new clients; • Coordination & expansion of business & client product delivery network within & outside the country; • Interface between clients & project teams to exceed client expectations of deliverables. • Lead preparation of concept papers, expressions of interests and technical proposals for consulting and programme management assignments. • Technically supervise the project teams in maintaining quality and timeliness of project implementation. • Lead identification and development of knowledge based products, toolkits, handbooks, manuals etc. and their dissemination and use. 4. Desired Profile of the Candidate: Qualifications& Experience: MBBS/ MD (Comm.Med.) , Masters in social sciences/ Business Administration/ Health Sciences/ Health Administration with 10 years experience in Public Health programme support and management including 3 years in client relations management, business development and product delivery functions. Knowledge & Skills required: Expert knowledge on public health issues in India and their programming; Good knowledge about bi- lateral, multi- lateral, private and public sector response to public health challenges; Proven track record of client servicing/ relationship management in health sector, with national and international clients; Entrepreneurial spirit, independent working style with little supervision needed; Strong management capabilities, including management of multiple teams, multi- tasking and working to tight deadlines; Excellent communication skills and writing skills; Enthusiasm, a strong drive to succeed and commitment to exceptionally high quality results; Ability to coordinate business and product delivery teams located in various states and countries; Very good knowledge and experience of working in MS Word, MS PPT, MS- Excel, MS Outlook etc.
