    Job Description:
    Reviews purchase order report daily and monitors purchase order reports to determine what needs to be purchased
    Creates purchase orders and verifies all information is accurate and relevant before being sent to the supplier
    Responsible for the submission of purchase orders based on customer demand, sales order, replenishment, and management direction
    Verifies that purchase order includes proper product costing, shipping instructions, etc.
    Initiates contact with vendors to check on availability and lead times for products
    Coordinates shipping, resolving potential shipping/receiving issues, scheduling deliveries as needed
    Monitors procurement requisitions and handling adjustments with vendors
    Manages and maintains procurement reports for specified division(s)
    Virtually attends divisional specific meetings to support and update the divisional teams
    Virtually assists company warehouse team with inventory management activities
    Liaison with accounting department to reconcile invoices and purchase orders
    Routine purchase order review and follow-up, and expediting of orders
    Support the Sales Support division with supplier/pricing information
    Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies on an escalated basis
    Communicate professionally and courteously directly with suppliers in relation to order processing as required to resolve issues and receive order acknowledgements
    Additional duties as required

    Desired Background:
    Bachelors degree in a business-related area, preferred
    0-2 years of purchasing related experience or demonstrated knowledge, required
    Knowledge of logistics and scheduling shipments for goods, required
    Administrative, organizational, and communication skills
    Must have experience working in back office operations
    Candidate must have excellent English speaking and writing skills
    Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Must be an expert user of MS office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
    Experienced in current technologies and platforms, preferably Salesforce CRM and other ERP systems
