    Major Job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

    1. Monitoring

    a. Overall responsibility for smooth functioning of the existing Silai Schools in the state.
    b. Monitor attendance of women learners in the Silai schools
    c. Ensure at least one visit per Silai School in two months
    d. Maintain rapport with the NGOs to ensure that monitoring is being done.
    e. Communicate sales leads to the FLSP

    2. Liaison / Network
    a. Be the direct link between the NGO and USS for all communication.
    b. Identify new partners and work with them on opening Silai Schools through a partnership model
    c. Maintain relationship with all the relevant dealers, sub dealers, mechanics and sales staff of UIL.
    d. Liaison with internal departments for improved functioning
    e. Liaison with SBUs for launching of Businesses through the Silai School platform

    3. Reporting
    a. Report to USS on a a fortnightly basis on the following:
    i. Functioning of the Silai Schools
    ii. Attendance
    iii. Earnings of the entrepreneur
    iv. Any social impact of the program (case studies)
    v. Sales / queries of UIL products
    vi. Perception of the community about Silai Schools
    vii. Any other activity that was done in Silai Schools

    4. Administrative
    i. Would be responsible for Training and retraining (conduct refresher courses) through local tailors, local trainers, UIL staff etc.
    ii. Issuance of attendance certificates to all Silai school teachers and women entrepreneurs after getting all the required signatures from the authorised signatory at UIL
    iii. Ensure that sewing machines are in working conditions and are in the possession of the woman entrepreneur
    iv. Ensure that the sign board is affixed at a proper place. Get the sign boards replaced if it has worn out, faded, destroyed, damaged etc.
    v. Ensure that the woman signs the undertaking during the trainings. This has to be renewed annually.

    5. Database management / MIS
    a. Manage a database of the NGOs in the state
    b. Keep an updated database of the profile of the Silai School villages and the women entrepreneurs
    c. Collect and collate data from the NGOs and visits done by himself / herself.
    d. Create a system of data collection from the Silai Schools for the period after the completion of Agreement with the NGO.
    e. Maintain a database of sales queries generated from the Silai Schools
    f. Monthly MIS compilation in coordination with the NGOs

    6. Leveraging the Silai School platform
    a. The Program Coordinator can also play a pivotal role in expansion of the Silai School network. A model can be worked out where the new affiliate would have to bear the expense of sewing machine and the board and other miscellaneous cost.

Desired Candidate Profile

    Looking for candidates with minimum 7 years of experiences of working with NGOs/ INGOs.
    1. Experience of working in a rural set-up is a must.
    2. Strong written and spoken English is a must.
    3. Knowledge of vernacular language is mandatory.
    4. Willing to travel to the remote habitations where the Silai Schools are operational, using the public transport system available in the state.
    5. Knowledge of Sewing Machines, stitching would be an added advantage.
