Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 6+ years
Location: Chennai/Bangalore
Notice Period: 0-30 days

Skills : Playwright, Selenium & JUnit

Responsibilities:

• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose and rectify issues.
• Improve and automate test procedures.
• Participate in product design reviews.
• Conduct post-release testing to validate requirements.
• Evaluate new testing tools and methodologies.
• Prepare reports on testing findings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing.
• Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., JIRA, TestNG, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with bug tracking tools and regression testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with API testing.
