Candidate should hold Bachelor degree in Engineering with 6-9+ years experience in Project , technical support and Equipment implementation for radio network controller elements (eNodeB ) in wireless communications networks, including understanding of Circuit Switch and Packet Switch Core network elements. Preference will be given to candidates that already have experience on Nokia radio equipment.
Hands-on working experience in LTE Optimization is must with Nokia skill set.
Experience in L3 analyzing. Knowledge on post processing and analysis tool (TEMS, NEMO, Actix or equivalent).
Should be familiar with Nokia OSS tools, reporting solution, counters & parameters and Feature implementation for LTE networks.
Knowledge of radio network design, planning for LTE including nominal Cell Plan, traffic simulations, dimensioning, capacity planning and capacity expansion plan based on traffic forecast for short term and long term. Knowledge of RF design fundamentals, RF propagation behavior, link budget , Model Tuning and Antenna theory. Should be familiar with any one of the planning tools (Atoll/Asset/Planet/TCP)
IBS/Repeater / small cell engineering experience would be a plus
Solid understanding of LTE Network Optimization and Network Performance principles. Knowledge of LTE radio network optimization and audit process which includes configuration audits, parameters audit, radio capacity assessment and post processing of drive tests log files and Layer 3 analysis.
Understanding of network interface protocols, protocol analyzers and network specifications. Can independently use Network analyzer and other tools to troubleshoot technical problem.
Knowledge in routine review of radio network Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as CS/PS drop call, CE Utilization/Blocking, Code utilization, Handover, RAB setup success rate and call setup success rate, data throughput and QoS etc. Database parameter settings analysis and creatively apply engineering principles to make appropriate database parameter changes/tuning, and even new feature implementation to maximize the total network performance and quality in order to meet customer objectives and targets.
KPI definition, Multi-layer tuning, traffic forecasting, Parameter tuning, Data optimization knowledge.
E2E approach on issue handling (Cross functional knowledge)
Knowledge on process definition, high level design and low level design doc preparation.
Test case preparation, FOA, POC, and KNOW HOW on field trials knowledge will be value added.
