    To provide leadership and strategy of assigned products and services in the Region; lead Sales Team and achieve the Sales Target. Strategies and implement cross selling of other products and services of the Bank.

    (a) Sales Target and Strategy
    o Monitor and guide ASM/Sales Team and ensure achievement of business objective
    o Overall coordination of branches under the Region, for attaining the acquisition target of the region and productivity of branch officers, thereby improving the portfolio
    o Ensuring recruitment, training, retention and mentoring talents
    o Responsible for sourcing high end Corporate / Institutional / Govt biz., budgeting and monitoring the budgets allocated to the Team Leads working under him so as to ensure attainment of the CASA budgets allotted.
    o Strategise promotional activities of products and services
    o Remain updated market development and trend and appraise vertical head
    o To control rejection ( Less than 5 %) of Account Opening Forms sourced by the team by promoting adherence to process norms
    o Stay updated on the recent changes in policy guidelines and educate Sales Team o Assist Vertical Head in product design
    (b) Sales Planning
    o Assist ASM/Sales Team in chalking sales / marketing strategies
    o Coordinate with cross functional/ other vertical business departments to facilitate business by branches
    Assist Vertical Head in planning and organizing Sales/ Marketing
    o Establish sales reporting mechanisms as per company standards
    o Conducting periodic performance reviews of Sales Team.
    o Evaluation of performance vis--vis the competitors of the locality
    (c) Achieving Operational Efficiency
    o Timely intervention ensuring sales quality and sales target and repeat business
    o Study and analyse the service quality by visiting / interacting branches and customers and recommend remedial measures.
    o Follow up with branches on compliance of internal audit matters, monitor
    o Minimise customer complaints.
    o Maintain liaison with Zonal Manager/ Area Manager/ Departments in Zonal/ Head Office for speedy resolution of problems faced by branches.
    (d) Any other tasks assigned by the Bank
