    The Role

    If your expertise lies in CPB portfolio management and you are effective in managing risks and handling stakeholders, the position as Senior Analyst Portfolio Management at RBS is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you will support the offshore CPB Portfolio Management for delivering Credit Stewardship, Credit Delivery and Fulfilment activity for RBS customers. This information will in turn help RMs/PMs in calculating probability of default for customer in case of new or existing lending.

    To qualify for this role, you should have sufficient work experience in the banking industry or in a regulatory and commercial environment. As a basic qualification, you need to have a B.Com degree though a MBA/CFA is desired.

    What the Business Does

    This role is based in the Portfolio Management- Products & Capital Management Hub at RBS reporting to the Centre Lead Portfolio Management.

    Your Responsibilities

    As Senior Analyst of the Portfolio Management, your responsibilities will include:

    Contributing towards the creation of a diverse but cohesive culture within Portfolio Management teams, including using experience and knowledge to assist others and operating within framework of KPIs

    Ensuring the delivery of seamless and continuously improving credit stewardship, delivery and fulfillment for existing and new business, including credit stressed, by processing of all requests as per defined TAT and accuracy levels and other applicable KPIs

    Contributing to the implementation of the Portfolio Management operating model and structure for Functionalised PM Hub that delivers consistently excellent service and at an efficient cost to serve which will act as a Centre of Excellence for CPB

    Being determined to Lead principles to ensure that efficiency and effectiveness are maximised

    Ensuring customer satisfaction through timely work delivery and quality.

    Skills you need

    Experience of relevant legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations and risk management

    Experience of conducting financial analysis of business performance and metrics

    Understanding and some experience in the application of risk management disciplines

    Working knowledge of relevant bank systems, processes and products

    Ability to work with limited supervision on routine portfolio management activity and to work to client deadlines and expectations
