    Role Description:

    This role would lead a new growth vertical for Simplilearn's India B2C business. Currently the business works thru a Tele-sales process which is scaling fast. We believe that a very targeted Offline team that can meet customers in person and sell our products can significantly accelerate our growth in India. The role is to set-up and scale a pan-India Offline business team to accelerate growth.

    It is a PnL ownership role and the expectation is that this growth vertical will in 18-24 months contribute 40% of Simplilearn's India revenue.

    There are two main aspects to the role. First, to build a strong sales organization that is well-trained, process driven and delivers sustainable growth. Second, driving business strategy and influencing calls around which product/market to focus on, pricing, marketing support, etc.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Own PnL for a high growth vertical within the business. This requires constant questioning on how we can grow faster and breaking the gradual growth mindset.
    • Responsible for leading a highly productive and motivated sales team.
    • Deliver on revenue goals by driving different levers
    • Driving focus on the right catchment areas and drive appropriate activations to scale business
    • High conversions thru product, pricing, pitch interventions and team training
    • Innovation and identifying new business opportunities
    • Build strong processes so that business growth is sustainable
    • Collaborate with other functional business unit heads on overall strategy.


    Desired Profile:

    • 10 to 15 years of work experience
    • Proven track record of PnL ownership and managing business team of similar size
    • Passion to work in a fast-paced start-up hungry to grow rapidly
    • Ability to see the business big picture and collaborate with leadership team to deliver growth
    • Strong leadership skills to lead a large team and ensure that desired behaviors are delivered effectively thru management layers
