    Roles & Responsibilities :

    Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
    Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including, Withholding Tax Payments, Income Tax, Service Tax, Value Added Tax, SEZ compliances.
    Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
    Review and reconcile bank and investment accounts.
    The responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
    The accountant must have excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
    Handle accounts payable transactions, coding invoices, posting to the proper accounts, and processing weekly check run, some accounts receivable activity and coordinate with your manager and other team of accountants.
    Produce and analyze financial reports such as cash-flow statements and profit projections, determine ways to improve financial performance, and ensure that their organizations meet all applicable standards, regulations and laws.
    Meet frequently with department heads to help with budgeting and tax planning, and to offer ways to increase profits while cutting costs.
    Co-ordinating the Audit activities (Statutory, Internal, Tax, Transfer Pricing, Sales Tax/VAT etc.) with various team members and authorities
    Execution & collating data & information for various assessments like Income Tax, Sales Tax/VAT, etc.
    Ensuring timely completion of all audits, assessments and various regulatory matters Proactively planning, organizing and managing the activities to meet the company requirements
    Maintaining the supporting and desired information and working ready and available at all given point of time
    Any other tasks and activities in relation to the above as assigned from time to time
    General accounting and financial practices, IFRS, Accounting & Auditing Standards
    Laws pertaining to taxation, excise , Government rules , statutory compliances
    ERP (SAP/Quickbooks)
    Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

    Education & Experience:
    5 - 7 years of experience in core accounts & finance field.
    Education: University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management/Administration, Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant designation is an asset
