    Senior Instructional Designer

    Job Description

    The opportunity is for Sr. Instructional Designer where an individual must be experienced in the learning industry and should have played role of an Instructional Designer / Learning Consultant / Content developer. The individual should be prepared to work in a dynamic and flexible environment and changing requirements with frequent client interactions. The individual must understand the importance of designing and delivering appropriate Learning systems and performance support tools in the context of a large change program or a workforce transformation initiative.

    Your responsibilities

    Your responsibilities include, but not limited to

    Consult with stakeholders to understand the business problem, learner profile and the evaluation methodology to implement in the proposed learning solution

    Work along with the Client team to understand and take forward the solution approach and design to development and execution phase

    Work through the different phases of learning design and development to understand the learning solution design (Including functional design incorporating user requirements & business solutions to meet business needs)

    Develop storyboards and simulations while collecting the relevant media and provide direction to the Media / Web Development team

    Contribute to users / client organization through the Learning process and help them plan their learning plan / schedules etc.

    Prepare materials for Instructor Development Workshops, Train the Trainers etc. and promote collaboration, partnerships and relationships among the participants

    Document and drive sharing of best practices and process improvement within the team and with partners and customers, and contribute to projects addressing continuous improvements on learning events related topics

    Act as first point of contact for Instructional Designers and third party associates and coach on process and systems as required

    Ensure customer satisfaction for service areas / regions identified in line with agreed targets and drive NPS

    Support Instructional Designers in their day to day projects and support in on - boarding and operational activities

    Deep understanding of all PLS CSP services and seamlessly hand off to respective service teams

    Minimum requirements

    What you ll bring to the role

    Service / Regions assigned are handled effectively in design and deployment of Learning Solutions on time and as agreed with Service Lead / Team Leader and measured by feedback on implementation according to the agreed metrics and SLA

    Effective and proactive support in managing multiple complex projects

    Proactive identification of project tasks that can be taken on by the Instructional Designers and Third Party Associates with guidance and support from the Team Leader

    Effective communication with stakeholders at appropriate level, stakeholder s audience, and internal team

    Delivery on defined productivity targets within the assigned PLS CSP / TDD area.

    Experience

    Learning and Business related degrees of which one should be to Masters level.

    Project Management qualification.

    Train - the - trainer and / or instructional design qualification essential

    Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages an advantage

    8 - 10 years of experience in instructional design, content development with understanding of training strategy, design strategy

    Business experience of learning content design and development in context of change management / ERP rollouts etc.

    Should have experience working with onsite teams alongside client teams.

    Select and use a variety of techniques for developing instructional content

    Understand and implement development model appropriate for a given project.

    Analyse the characteristics of existing and emerging technologies and their use in an instructional environment.

    Experience of Learning Content Design and Development Framework & Software Design cycle

    Business experience in working on projects developing content using tools like OnDemand, HTML, Captivate, Lectora, Storyline and be comfortable with client proprietary authoring tools ( The candidate should be aware of the technical functionalities & limitations of these tools)
